Ms. Bowers is an experienced field industrial hygienist. She has experience sampling numerous chemical and physical agents in the workplace. She is trained in the development and maintenance of ionizing radiation exposure programs.
While employed as an industrial hygienist with a major electronics manufacturer, she was responsible for the conduct of an OSHA compliance monitoring program. The monitoring included the sampling of production personnel to determine their exposure to arsenical compounds. She also assisted management with the development and maintenance of a plant-wide respiratory protection program and a Hearing Conservation Program for a production workforce of 170 individuals. Her work experience also includes the conduct of occupational safety and health audits and training of first responders for the corporation's Emergency Response Team.
Prior to joining Ungers & Associates, Inc., she also worked as a Radiation Safety Officer and was responsible for Hazard Communication and Safety tasks at a regional mid-west airport.
